KVM virtual machines
Every server is a KVM virtual machine that boots its own kernel, which means the kernel, the modules and the sysctls are yours to change, and you get root and a public IPv4 on each one. Hosts are a mix: AMD EPYC, Ryzen and Intel, DDR4 or DDR5 depending on the host, Gen 4 NVMe. We don't promise a specific model.
Two regions, more coming
Houston and Singapore are live. Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Mumbai are coming, and we aren't putting dates on them until they're ready. The price is the same in every region. Latency follows distance, so measure it yourself from where your users are.
A small, independent team
We sell one thing: KVM servers, on three plans. Ember is $5/mo for 1 vCPU, 1GB of memory, 10GB of storage and 1TB of transfer. Flare is $10 for 2 vCPU, 2GB, 20GB and 2TB. Blaze is $20 for 2 vCPU, 4GB, 40GB and 3TB.
Inbound DDoS scrubbing is included at no extra charge. Transit is blended and reaches Tier-1 carriers.
Billing, regions and uptime
How does billing work?
From a wallet. The hourly rate is the monthly price divided by 730, and we never bill you above the monthly price. There's no setup fee and no contract. Destroy a server and billing for it stops that hour.
What keeps billing if I'm not careful?
A stopped server still bills until you destroy it. Block storage ($0.10/GB/mo) and reserved IPs ($3/mo, up to 3) bill while they exist, even when nothing is attached to them. Snapshots are free up to three, then $1/mo each for as long as you keep them. Backups add 20%.
Is the price the same in every region?
Yes. Flare is $10/mo in Houston and $10/mo in Singapore, and it will be $10/mo in the regions we open next.
What's the uptime commitment?
A 100% uptime SLA. Credits scale with how long the downtime lasted.
What happens if I go over my transfer allowance?
Outbound traffic past the plan's allowance is $0.01/GB.
